ABPmer appoints new Principal Consultant: Suzannah Walmsley

ABP Marine Environmental Research Ltd (ABPmer) has appointed Suzannah Walmsley as a new Principal Environmental Consultant.

Suzannah is a marine environment and biodiversity expert with significant knowledge of European marine policy and international fisheries issues.

She has over ten years’ experience and has worked on a range of projects related to sustainable fisheries and the marine environment in the UK, EU and worldwide.

Her main areas of specialism are in marine environment and biodiversity, particularly the Marine Strategy Framework Directive; Common Fisheries Policy; policy analysis; fisheries trade and WTO negotiations; socio-economics; participatory and co-management approaches.

Suzannah has extensive experience of marine policy, having worked on projects across the EU-27 and in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and is fluent in Portuguese.
